Pushing the boundaries beyond the Asian Spirit of the brand, and inspired by the Dutch Masters still life banquet paintings and ostentatious still lifes from the 17th century, we created a series of compositions tied together by an enriched interpretation of the Imperial color pallet. Taking from their mastery in realistic light, textures, surfaces, intricate patterns and inclusion of flowers we developed a set of irreverent and debaucherous banquet scenes infused with Asian elements: from Kumquats to cleavers and from brocade fabrics to antique Chinese figurines. The goal was to transmit an aspirational image of how each of the events would feel like should you attend.
